Pesticides and the Environment Textbook
This book had its genesis in a course on pesticides and the environment that was first taught in the 1970s at the University of Guelph. The first edition of the book was written by Dr. Gerry Stephenon and Dr. Keith Solomon. Dr. Prosser was once a student in this course when it was taught by Dr. Gerry Stephenson, and he spent many nights reading the first edition of this book. Dr. Prosser has had the privilege of being taught and mentored by both Dr. Stephenson and Dr. Keith Solomon over the years. He is very grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to the second edition of this book so that a new cohort of students and readers can learn about the interesting and complex issue of pesticides and the environment.
